Playtime for Bunnies!

Contrary to the perception of bunnies being quiet and shy, they are actually playful, fun-loving pets. Just like a child, playtime is their favourite time of the day.

My two bunnies love it whenever I let them out to play. They enjoy jumping and running around from one point to another, sometimes even in circles. However, it might not be always possible to let them out to play for 24 hours a day. A bored bunny can also become a destructive bunny if they find the wrong things to chew.

How should you solve this problem?

Naturally, the simplest way is to get bunny toys. These are available at most pet stores in Singapore, usually in the form of a wooden carrot or corn-shaped toy. But again, bunny toys may lack variety. It is also not possible for you to buy everything due to cost considerations.

Hence, the term "do-it-yourself" arises. Apart from being inexpensive and convenient, you can also customise the toy when you create the toy yourself. One good example would be to build a cardboard castle for your bunny. I particularly like this idea of using cardboards to build a castle for bunnies. Cardboard is easily available and customizable. Instead of a toy that is fixed according to universal standards, you can build a cardboard castle for your bunny the way you want it to be. Thumbs up for the good idea!
